इन दिनों हास्य कवि सम्मेलनों में बनारस का प्रतिनिधित्व दमदार बनारसी को मिला है। बनारस के हास्य परम्परा इन्हें इनके गुरू साँड़ बनारसी जी से मिली जिसे ये आगे ले जा रहे हैं। सामयिक चुटकुलों के साथ हास्य की कविताएँ भी लाजवाब है। These days, Banaras has been represented in comic poet conferences.
